The Mill
Work to construct a stunning collection of six two-bedroom apartments and two luxury penthouses in St Helier is well underway. Due for completion in spring 2019, The Mill at Grands Vaux Reservoir is the latest development from Catterson Wood.
Conveniently located on its own private road with surrounding countryside providing the perfect backdrop, The Mill will set a new benchmark for luxury living in the area. Each apartment has been created with quality at their heart and classically designed contemporary interiors. All units come with two undercover parking spaces, a lift to all floors, large balconies or terraces and large open plan living spaces.
Luxury stone work surfaces and British-made Mackintosh furniture including contemporary matt finish limestone doors and discreet brushed stainless steel handles are the perfect backdrop to sleek kitchens. Each kitchen is complete with clever storage solutions, a range to high quality Miele appliances and either large peninsulas or islands. Appliances include a single oven, integrated microwave, induction hob, integrated dishwasher and integrated fridge/freezer.
Ample storage is provided throughout the apartment, supplemented by a utility room. The master bedroom comes complete with an ensuite bathroom with a second bathroom located off the hallway.
To access the two penthouses, residents will be able to take a private lift direct to their own hallway. Two ensuite bedrooms and extensive living areas are complemented by floor to ceiling windows that slide open to reveal stunning treetop views. Top floor living will be a particular highlight of The Mill and are set to be hugely popular.
The luxury and high quality of the development doesn’t just start and end with the building. The entrance to the private road upon which construction is currently taking place will include two stunning granite pillar. Hand crafted by local artist Derek Tristram, the intricately designed pillars are a nod to the areas past as a corn producer, with records showing watermills on the site dating back to the 16th century.
The Mill well and truly has the countryside on its doorstep and a number of St Helier hotspots are within walking distance. Supermarkets, restaurants, a spa and fitness facilities are all easily accessible. A regular bus service is also available for travel into central St Helier.
The Mill is the latest venture for Catterson Wood and follows on from the hugely successful Haute Pierre development. The company was founded with the simple aim of creating truly bespoke homes and work with local tradesmen and designers to ensure quality is maintained throughout.
